This ongoing interim assignment is based in Hartlepool and offers an immediate start with this global company.
Duties are:-
To produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial/management accounts
Deputising for the Assistant Manufacturing Accountant, Energy , when appropriate.
Analysing departmental works records to produce weekly management reports on performance.
Ensuring the timely supply of primary source data from other departments - progressing receipt with various Managers so as to secure the information on time.
Operating the costing system to produce financial/management monthly, quarterly and annual accounts/results in accordance with strict Head Office/Business timetables. Ensuring all balances are kept in accordance with Group/Statutory requirements.
Maintaining schedules of stock and compile financial evaluation of annual stocktakes.This will include attendance at physical count.
Collection of data and Calculation of Order Product Costs for standard process items.
Preparing and analysing monthly control (suspense) accounts for the business.
Investigating and reporting on the cause of individual variances from standard to enable remedial action to be taken.
Analysing and agreeing Inter Company balances for both quarterly accounting submissions and verification of monthly settlements.
Raising Sundry Sale invoices and input to SAP Sales Ledger.
Maintaining records relating to Capital Projects expenditure and produce monthly progress monitors for inclusion in the Business Reporting Brochure.
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register for the business and completing a physical verification exercise, in accordance with Group Policy Documents.
Providing costings to managers for manual-type invoices in the SAP FSS Accounts Payable system.
Completing ad hoc analyses requested by management.
Production of management and financial accounts reports for submission to the Management Brochure.
